Company Philosophy
WWW.RUSTICLIGHTINGANDFANS.COM was founded to provide the widest selection of rustic, western, lodge and
cabin lighting possible at reasonable prices and is part of the Kiva Lighting family. Kiva Lighting has
been manufacturing and retailing lighting since 1992 and is known nationwide for its quality and
service. Lighting is a tricky and expensive proposition and we provide the services of a full service
lighting showroom, only with more options and lower prices. Our "phone in order" policy, while sometimes
being a little more inconvenient than an online shopping cart, also dramatically reduces ordering
mistakes. In many instances our professional sales consultants will save you money by suggesting
alternative lighting suggestions or brands. We strive to make purchasing lighting an easy and
enjoyable experience. Our surveys show that providing personalized service and assistance is one
of our customers most important criteria when purchasing both locally and online. It costs us more
also to provide the service, but our incredibly low returns rate, less then 1/2 of 1%, demonstrates just
how effective it is. As you will find when browsing our site, we are not just another website
operating out of a PO Box with minimal customer service support. We manufacture many of the lights
instead of just importing them from China. That allows us to offer the unlimited options, and still keep
our prices low.
All of our customers are important and want to hear back from you. If you find a brand of lighting that
we don't carry, please let us know and we will see about ordering it. New models and designs come out
monthly and we appreciate any suggestions and information you have. We are a growing company and welcome
your thoughts and ideas. Many of our best ideas come from our customers and we'll be happy to waive any
custom charges if we can incorporate your ideas into our line!

How Lights are made Making lights is a very complicated and detail
oriented 10 step process. At Kiva Lighting, we go a step further then other companies by using stainless
steel and aluminum for their long term durability on many of our outdoor lighting fixtures. The cost is
4 times the price of regular steel, but they will last practically forever instead of rusting or
corroding like any regular steel light will eventually do.
Each step of the fabrication process is shown below. Click to enlarge each picture. Unlike 99% of the
lights now sold today, we make all of the Copper Canyon Lighting right here in the United States at
prices less than 1/3 of other hand made lighting companies.
